Some friends complained about the used language because they can't understand what I write so to make this even more international I'll start writting some posts in english... so dear sister, please translate this for aitama (if they ask you).

After first 8 days at Basque country I flew to London to visit there three friends whom went there from Biarritz. One of them showed me that we have to be aware of the oportunities anytime and everywhere we are.

Just landed at Heathrow, after picking up the luggage, I was in front of a door to look for the correct path to the tube and somebody came from my left offering help. It was my friend who decided to come and receive me at the airport, great! I won't be lost in London! (I thought). After 1h15min of tube we arrived at Liverpool street, a big station connecting some lines which had some shops and bars. Just gone out from the metro station gates, my friend started to look on some newspapers heaped on the ground. They were the kind of free newspapers that people use to read on the metro in the mornings. I went to him and asked what he was looking for, and he answered that he was hungry and he wanted to find an offer for the Burger King.

I felt strange, kind of ashamed, thinking on my friends words. We both had enough money to buy a couple of burgers or even to go to a restaurant and have a meal, but... I looked over my shoulder, saw the people going in and out from the gates without looking at us, and just changed my mind. The oportunity was there, somewhere between the newspapers, waiting for somebody to take it. Even knowing that this kind of offers exists, I would never have looked for it, thinking about the image I can give. Thinking about how could I feel if somebody which I know sees me on this situation. But my friend didn't care, and finally got this offer and we had 2 burgers for the price of 1.

None of the people around us during those 15 minutes came to us to ask or say anything and for sure I won't remember their face or they will remember mine. And we got the meal for half price. On life, similar situations appeares quite often. Just because we want to keep our status we dismiss the oportunities standing around us.
